A burst of bright sunlight after a rainstorm creates an intensely saturated rainbow over the Sound of Taransay between Tràigh Nisabost (Horgabost) and the North Harros Hills. The marram grass is very distinctive beside the beaches in the Outer Hebrides. Each distinct colour of refracted light can be clearly resolved.
