Concretion Coast
The amazing coastline of Eigg, near the Bay of Laig. Sandstone concretions, eroded basalt and superheated sandstone , a shallow water field of bright green seaweed and limestone rock, looking over to Rum. Rum is the core of a deeply eroded volcano more that twice its current height of over 2600 feet, and Eigg was partially formed with its lava flow.
