Majestic Morning

Sunrise over the Vestrahorn at Stokksnes black volcanic beach in Iceland. The mountain to the right of the incredible Vestrahorn is sometimes referred to as the Batman Mountain. Fans can see why!

Timing was crucial to maximise the reflection of the Vestrahorn in the wet sand. The best time was just before the water from the last wave seeped into the sand and before the next wave approached, whilst always being ready to run up the beach when a bigger wave came in! :-)
