Falkirk Wheel

A fantastic piece of Scottish Engineering, the Falkirk wheel is a boat lift connecting the Forth & Clyde Canal with the Union Canal. It replaced the series of 11 staircases, dismantled in 1933, which took nearly a day to transit.
