Kilchurn In Awe
I arrived here for sunrise, but could barely see the castle through the mist. Four and a half hours later, the sun burned off the lingering mist and revealed Monadh Driseig, Beinn A' Chochuill and Beinn Eunach behind Kilchurn Castle on the bank of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute. Kilchurn Castle was first constructed in the mid-15th century as the base of the Campbells of Glenorchy. Loch Awe is the longest freshwater loch in Scotland.
