The Red Carpet

A carpet of red acer leaves signals the final stage of autumn in Dunblane's Secret Garden, which is sheltered on all sides, stopping the leaves from blowing away. The damp weather really accentuated the saturation of the red leaves and the green foliage and lichens. November 2016.
